TechFlow news, according to Reuters, industry executives and other participants told Reuters that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may approve exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to the spot price of Ethereum on July 4, as negotiations between asset management firms and regulators have entered their final stages.
Eight asset management companies are seeking SEC approval for these funds, including BlackRock, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, and Grayscale Investments.
The SEC has already approved rule changes for listing and regulating these new products on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
