TechFlow news: The NEAR Foundation has announced the first cohort of six artificial intelligence teams selected for the NEAR Horizon AI incubation program. These teams will build foundational models, model training frameworks, and developer tools at the intersection of AI and Web3, supporting scalable, efficient, and secure user-owned AI. Below are the six projects in the inaugural NEAR AI x HZN incubation cohort:
1. Mizu: Building the first synthetic open data layer to foster an open, collaborative data ecosystem among AI developers.
2. Pond: Developing foundational cryptographic models using Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to analyze on-chain data and predict future behaviors.
3. Nevermined: Providing robust payment infrastructure for AI commerce, enabling seamless transactions for AI developers.
4. Hyperbolic: Delivering open-access AI cloud services, including a GPU marketplace and AI inference services.
5. Ringfence: Empowering creators and artists to monetize their work while retaining ownership.
6. Exabits: Offering GPU computing within data center environments, providing the necessary physical and technical infrastructure for serious AI training, inference, and fine-tuning.
