TechFlow news: Sophon, a modular blockchain built on the ZK Stack architecture launched by former ZKsync executives, has announced a strategic partnership with Aethir to bring decentralized computing services to the ZK community, connecting Aethir’s decentralized computing community of 800,000 users with Sophon’s over 3 million pre-registered users.
Aethir will launch on the Sophon network shortly after Sophon's mainnet release (planned for Q3 2024). Sophon will run Aethir validator nodes to ensure network resilience and reliability.
The two parties will conduct node swaps, and node operators from both Sophon and Aethir will receive each other's tokens, ensuring that both communities benefit from the collaboration.
Aethir focuses on supporting GPU-intensive applications such as artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and cloud gaming. Its network includes validator nodes and actual computing resource providers. The validator nodes will be deployed on Sophon and will handle most of the validation and reward distribution processes.
