TechFlow reported, according to Arkham data, that a wallet address tagged as the German government (German Government BKA) transferred approximately 6,500 BTC to a bc1q-prefixed address four hours ago.
The new wallet then split the received funds into batches of 500 BTC and executed four transactions. Two of these transactions were sent to cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken and Bitstamp, while the other two were transferred to untagged private addresses.
It is understood that this crypto wallet has held nearly 50,000 BTC since February 2024—funds seized from Movie2k, an operator of pirated movie websites. It currently still holds 43,359 BTC, valued at $2.83 billion.
