TechFlow reports that Degen, a meme coin in the Farcaster ecosystem, announced it has listened to community feedback and recognized that the current tipping incentive policy has not been effective. To address this, the team is developing a new incentive mechanism designed to reward long-term members and reduce farming behavior.
The team will rapidly iterate and improve the next season, making token farming progressively more difficult.
The future system will require users to demonstrate commitment to the Degen project through locking or staking, aiming to reward those who hold Degen tokens over the long term. Currently, this incentive mechanism is under development.
