TechFlow news: Doodles, an NFT-powered entertainment project, has announced it will migrate its "Stoodio" avatar customization platform to Base, an Ethereum L2 network, leaving the Flow blockchain.
The transition, scheduled for mid-July, aims to take advantage of Base's cheaper and faster transactions compared to the Ethereum mainnet.
Doodles' original avatar collection will remain on Ethereum; only Stoodio and various NFT wearables and character customizations will move from Flow to Base.
According to Doodles CEO Julian Holguin, the departure from Flow is not due to any specific issues or complaints, but rather more aligned with the project's future vision.
