TechFlow news: ALEX Lab has posted a security incident update on X, stating that the attacker had broadcast over 9,700 transactions before 11:00 AM on June 17, involving the generation of new wallet addresses and the distribution of on-chain STX balances across these newly created wallets.
The number of traceable transactions has sharply increased from 300 to over 9,600 and continues to accelerate. The number of distinct addresses linked to the attacker has grown from fewer than 100 to more than 4,700 within seven days.
Small amounts of STX were transferred to thousands of new addresses and subsequently sent to CEXs. The total amount of STX traced to deposits in CEXs currently stands at 8,373,587 STX, while the attacker's current on-chain balance is approximately 5,560,332 STX.
