TechFlow news: The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has partnered with the Bank of Canada to launch a new Innovation Hub in Canada.
The Hub will focus on exploring technological advancements to promote inclusiveness and efficiency in the financial system. Key areas of focus include central bank digital currencies, green finance, cybersecurity, open finance, innovations for regulatory and supervisory purposes, and next-generation financial market infrastructure.
The Governor of the Bank of Canada stated that this collaboration is crucial for fostering innovation in the region, while the BIS General Manager expressed enthusiasm about partnering with the Bank of Canada.
