TechFlow news, according to Fox journalist Eleanor Terrett, U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty said he would encourage the SEC to focus on clarity in the cryptocurrency sector to establish a proper ecosystem and prevent the industry from moving overseas.
SEC Chair Gary Gensler countered that breaking the law or disliking regulations is different from a lack of clarity. Hagerty responded that the SEC still has significant uncertainty and lacks clarity, and such a situation is unnecessary.
