TechFlow reports that cryptocurrency payment company Helio has rolled out a series of upgrades to its Solana Pay Shopify plugin, enabling businesses on the e-commerce platform to accept cryptocurrency payments via the Solana network.
The plugin charges a 0.75% transaction fee, lower than the typical 1.5% to 3.5% charged by credit cards.
The new version adds support for hundreds of cryptocurrencies as payment methods, along with a more streamlined checkout process and features allowing merchants to offer NFT airdrops.
In addition, Helio said it plans to support payments across more than 10 blockchains including Ethereum and BNB in the future.
