TechFlow News, Berachain announced the upgrade to Berachain V2. Berachain V2 enhances its architecture and consensus mechanism by introducing the BeaconKit framework, providing a better EVM smart contract development experience to improve liquidity and economic security.
The V2 version maintains Berachain's three-token model and PoL incentive mechanism, while adjusting validator settings by increasing the number of validators from 100 to 256 to support anticipated large-scale TVL. Additionally, the new modular design enhances ecosystem-wide collaboration and security through shared liquidity.
Berachain V2 represents a significant improvement over V1, enhancing execution client diversity and resolving the V1 mempool's inability to keep up with block space demand.
