TechFlow news, according to The Block, Irys, an on-chain data infrastructure developer, has raised $3.7 million in a funding round led by venture capital firm Lemniscap, bringing Irys' total funding to $8.9 million.
Framework, Primitive Ventures, Hypersphere, Permanent Ventures, EV3, Smokey the Bera—co-founder of Berachain—as well as Ryan Watkins and Daniel Cheung also participated in the round.
Notably, Irys was formerly known as Bundlr Network. Its services have expanded from transaction bundling to enhancing storage throughput for scalable on-chain data. Additionally, the platform is building infrastructure to track and verify data in order to combat digital misinformation.
