TechFlow news on June 11: In response to community rumors about "unauthorized addresses appearing in the USDT-TRC20 withdrawal whitelist for many OKX accounts," OKX officials checked multiple addresses and found that they were added by account holders several years ago. An official OKX account stated, "In the app's address book feature, newly added unverified addresses appear at the top; addresses listed below could not have been recently added." In light of this, OKX founder Star Xu rarely posted a Chinese-language tweet saying, "I also often don't remember addresses I added long ago. If anyone still has doubts, please feel free to contact customer service for verification. Indeed, OKX's address book function needs improvement, such as displaying the time when addresses were added. Additionally, OKX will, as always, take full responsibility for any customer asset losses caused by OKX's own issues."
