TechFlow reports that Hydration, a DeFi project in the Polkadot ecosystem, has announced receiving 2 million DOT tokens from the Polkadot treasury to enhance its liquidity provision platform, Omnipool.
The team plans to spend 1 million DOT over the next year to attract new liquidity into the Polkadot ecosystem, offering initial rewards exceeding 200% APY.
The remaining 1 million DOT will be directly injected into the Hydration Omnipool itself to support the creation of a robust and accessible native liquidity layer.
