TechFlow news: Loopring tweeted that its smart wallet was attacked a few hours ago. The attacker targeted wallets with only one guardian—specifically the official Loopring guardian. The attacker successfully exploited Loopring's two-factor authentication service, impersonated wallet owners to initiate recovery procedures, and then transferred assets.
Loopring has temporarily suspended all guardian-related and two-factor authentication operations. They are now collaborating with Mist security experts to investigate, and working with law enforcement and security teams to track down the attacker. If you have any information that could help identify the attacker, please share it with them.
