TechFlow reported that Sky Mavis, the developer behind blockchain game Axie Infinity, tweeted that Norway's National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (Økokrim) has successfully frozen and returned $5.7 million worth of assets stolen in the Ronin bridge incident.
Fifteen percent of the recovered assets will be used to cover restoration costs and expenses, while the remaining 85% will be deposited into the Axie Infinity fund.
In addition, approximately $40 million worth of other assets have been frozen and are awaiting recovery and return, which will take time.
