TechFlow news: Spain's data protection authority has announced that Worldcoin has legally agreed not to resume operations in Spain before the end of this year.
Worldcoin developer Tools for Humanity will suspend data collection and processing until the end of 2024 or until the ongoing investigation concludes.
Currently, Bavaria's data protection agency BayLDA in Germany is investigating Worldcoin’s practices regarding personal user data processing.
The EU-wide investigation is still ongoing, and BayLDA is expected to reach a final decision shortly, aligned with all relevant European regulatory authorities.
