TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, the Starknet Foundation will distribute 20 million Starknet (STRK) tokens—worth approximately $25.2 million—to the top 21 projects in its ecosystem as part of its new Catalyst program.
Diego Oliva, CEO of the Starknet Foundation, said the program selects top user-facing protocols for rewards based on multiple factors jointly assessed by the Starknet Foundation and independent third parties. "We examined a range of metrics with varying weights, such as total value locked, fees generated, active users, external funding, security audits, and several other indicators."
The grant initiative aims to accelerate innovation on Starknet's Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution based on zero-knowledge rollup technology. Grants will be divided into two categories, distinguishing established projects from emerging ones on the network.
