TechFlow news, on May 23, Omakase, a Web3 infrastructure provider, announced an investment from Nomura Holdings, Japan's largest asset management company.
Omakase is a company offering Web3 infrastructure engineering services, established in January 2024 as a subsidiary of Kudasai, one of Japan’s largest Web3 communities.
Leveraging Omakase’s technology and Kudasai’s marketing capabilities, the Omakase/Kudasai alliance will provide comprehensive support in the Japanese market. Omakase focuses on validator operations, development, maintenance, and technical consulting services, with a dedicated emphasis on blockchain businesses and aims to develop next-generation staking services.
As of March 2024, Omakase operates validators on blockchain networks including Avalanche, Dymension, Eigenlayer, Ethereum, SEI, and Zetachain, and collaborates with projects such as Babylon, Berachain, BounceBit, Elixir, and Espresso to run validators on testnets. It also serves as a validator on Japan’s domestic public blockchain—Japan Open Chain.
