The defendant, Xiao Fan, while working at Hanzhong City's Municipal Public Housing Management Office, violated regulations regarding withdrawal and name changes in public rental housing management, using his position to seek benefits for others in areas such as rental and name transfers of public housing units. He individually or jointly accepted bribes totaling 1.207515 million yuan, of which he personally obtained 969,500 yuan, and used 674,700 yuan of that amount for cryptocurrency investments.
