TechFlow reports that former FTX co-CEO Ryan Salame has agreed to transfer his multi-million-dollar property in the Bahamas as part of his plea agreement in a criminal case.
According to a motion filed on May 1 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware by FTX and its affiliated debtors, Salame has agreed to relinquish his $5.9 million Bahamian real estate asset.
Salame pleaded guilty to criminal charges in September 2023, under a plea deal requiring him to pay $5.6 million in restitution to the debtors. He has proposed transferring ownership of his residential property to FTX instead of making a cash payment to satisfy the restitution obligation.
