Building upon V3, Aave V4 introduces a series of enhancements, including a completely redesigned architecture to improve modularity and capital efficiency, a unified liquidity layer for seamless integration of the native stablecoin GHO, and upgraded liquidation engines and risk management tools. Aave Labs plans to begin V4 development in Q2 2024, with an anticipated launch around mid-2025.
