TechFlow news, Firedancer engineer cantelopepeel.eth posted that final integration of the Firedancer client is progressing smoothly. He added that there's still much work to be done, but the first full-scale test is approaching.
At the end of October last year, the Solana Foundation officially announced at Breakpoint, Solana's annual community summit, that Firedancer, Solana's second validator client, had successfully launched on testnet. Developed by Jump Crypto, Firedancer aims to enhance client diversity, strengthen the stability of the Solana blockchain, and further improve its resilience and resistance to attacks. Compared to Solana’s first client, Firedancer is built using C/C++, which not only improves compatibility and memory efficiency but also helps reduce the cost of running a Solana node.
