TechFlow news: Decentralized exchange Sushi has released a community proposal titled "Decentralized Governance Structure Proposal: Introducing the Sushi Council," aiming to establish a more structured governance framework to advance the protocol's long-term decentralization.
According to the proposal, Sushi plans to launch three specialized councils in phases: the High Kitchen, Treasury Council, and Grants Council. The High Kitchen, serving as the core governance body, will consist of 6–8 members responsible for overseeing improvement proposals and parameter changes. The Treasury Council will focus on developing budgetary and strategic proposals to enhance treasury stability and diversification. The Grants Council will manage disbursements of grants, bounties, and rewards to projects advancing the Sushi ecosystem.
Council members are required to actively participate in voting; otherwise, they risk removal. As compensation, each member will receive an annual allocation of 5,000 SUSHI tokens. Sushi encourages community members to actively discuss the proposal and provide feedback, and invites interested individuals to submit their information for review if they wish to join a council. After gathering feedback, Sushi will finalize these proposals through community voting.
