TechFlow News — Ahmad Shadid, founder and CEO of Solana-based DePIN protocol io.net, announced that multiple users have identified critical bugs and technical issues in the current version of IO Cloud. The team is actively working to resolve these reported problems and is adjusting its plans for the coming weeks as follows:
- A transparent proof-of-work process has been implemented to verify all devices on the network, and logs will begin to be publicly shared this week;
- A public issue tracker will be published and maintained on the official website before the weekend, including a form for users to submit new issues. Reports of newly discovered bugs will receive rewards, and the team will transition to a full bug bounty program over the next few weeks;
- The token launch has been postponed until the bugs are resolved. The team is currently collaborating with providers to re-establish network connections, a process expected to take approximately two weeks. The team remains committed to ensuring the core platform is stable and fully functional prior to token release, which serves the best interests of providers, users, and the community;
- Resources will be allocated to calculate and display rewards earned by providers during March and April, while May rewards will be updated in real time within IO Worker;
- Ongoing efforts will continue to improve intuitive, transparent, and clear metric reporting within the browser interface. The team has requested revisions to metric naming and the addition of tooltips to prevent confusion.
