Fifty popular Web3 projects have jointly launched this major airdrop event on X (formerly Twitter). Since its launch, the hashtag #AIRDROP2049 has garnered over 1 million views. Two online Twitter Spaces livestream events held last week attracted more than 75,000 listeners, and over 100 global KOLs have participated in promoting the airdrop. The event remains highly active and may continue through mid-May.
The Head of Marketing at Mind Network stated that AIRDROP2049 brings together project teams from multiple different sectors to conduct coordinated airdrops, reaching "Web3 users with diverse characteristics," marking a meaningful experiment that will deliver substantial value to all participating projects.
The Operations Lead at co-organizer Trusta Lab noted that within just 10 days of the campaign's launch, they observed hundreds of thousands of on-chain interactions—indicating highly active Web3 users. They believe even more users will join as the event progresses.
