As announced on Friday, Thai authorities have decided to block access to "unauthorized" crypto platforms to improve enforcement efficiency and address online criminal activities. Following a meeting of the Committee for Prevention of Technology-Related Crimes, the SEC has been instructed to submit information on unauthorized digital asset service providers to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society for blocking access to these platforms.
The announcement stated that the SEC has considered the impact on users and will allow them time to manage their accounts before services are suspended. Therefore, users of the affected platforms are urged to promptly withdraw their assets from the platforms.
