TechFlow News — Game studio Faraway has announced the acquisition of two major gaming IPs, HV-MTL and Legends of the Mara, from Yuga Labs. This move is part of Faraway's strategy to build an interoperable gaming ecosystem, with plans to introduce new token systems and deeper integrations into both games to further enhance the IP value.
The newly introduced "HV-MTL Points" and "LoTM Points" will be added to NFT metadata and support cross-game interactions within the Faraway network. Additionally, Faraway has appointed Web3 gaming veteran Spencer Tucker as Chief Product Officer.
