TechFlow news — Binance.US announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Martin Grant to its board. Grant previously served as an official at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer for 17 years.
Grant is currently the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at JST Digital. His appointment comes several months after Changpeng Zhao, founder and former CEO of global exchange Binance, stepped down as chairman of the board following the global exchange's multibillion-dollar settlements with multiple U.S. agencies over regulatory claims related to money laundering and sanctions violations. Binance.US was not a party to these settlement agreements.
