TechFlow reports that the deployer of DeFi lending protocol OpenLeverage Finance has sent an on-chain message to the attacker, offering a 20% bounty on any stolen funds. If the hacker returns the remaining 80%, this 20% reward will go to the victims.
If the attacker chooses not to participate in voluntary repayment and fails to complete the process by April 18, 2024, at 16:00, the bounty will be opened to the public, with the full 20% reward going to anyone who can identify the attacker in a manner leading to their conviction in court.
Earlier report, OpenLeverage was suspected of suffering a hack, and the protocol has currently been suspended.
