TechFlow news — On April 15, OpenAI announced the establishment of its first office in Asia in Tokyo, Japan, expanding its operations into the Asian market. The company will also launch a customized version of GPT-4 optimized for the Japanese language. OpenAI stated it aims to collaborate with the Japanese government, local enterprises, and research institutions to develop safe AI tools that meet Japan's unique needs and create new opportunities. Tadao Nagasaki will serve as President of OpenAI Japan.
