TechFlow news: According to the Snapshot governance page, the SafeDAO community proposal to enable SAFE token transferability has passed voting.
After the initial proposal was rejected in 2022, a series of consensus-driven milestones were established—and these have now all been completed. Enabling SAFE token transferability will usher SafeDAO into a new phase, increasing the liquidity and utility of the SAFE token and facilitating greater participation from external contributors in governance.
Due to safeguard measures in place, the earliest date for SAFE token transferability is eight days after the end of the voting period, tentatively set for April 23.
