TechFlow news, April 4 — According to official updates, DeFi platform LeverFi has announced the launch of the OmniZK protocol, a secure validation protocol designed to enhance Bitcoin's scalability, logical construction, and interoperability.
OmniZK addresses Bitcoin script’s Turing incompleteness by providing secure verification for the Bitcoin network, enabling developers to offload complex computations to any EVM layer and relay final event outcomes back to the Bitcoin network for native settlement. Featuring a modular design, OmniZK allows developers to build conditional, non-custodial Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs) on Bitcoin, secured by event proofs generated from zkOracles. Applications built using OmniZK operate independently from Bitcoin L2 solutions while remaining complementary—interacting and communicating with L2s, yet achieving final settlement natively on Bitcoin outside the L2.
