TechFlow news, according to Techinasia, OpenAI plans to establish its first Asian office in Tokyo to provide customer support. The company's CEO Sam Altman met with Japan's Prime Minister last year, expressing interest in the region and pledging cooperation with the Japanese government to protect user privacy and security.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Singapore's Temasek Holdings is discussing an investment in OpenAI, while the UAE government is also in talks with Altman to raise funds for artificial intelligence chip development. Additionally, China's ByteDance has been increasing its investments in artificial intelligence, recently posting over 100 job openings related to generative AI.
