TechFlow reports that exchange HKVAEX has announced it will begin phasing out its services starting April 1, 2024. The official website will be fully shut down on May 1, 2024.
Timeline and arrangements:
Immediate service suspension: Effective immediately, HKVAEX will no longer accept new user registrations or virtual asset deposits.
Trading service termination: On April 5, 2024 at 23:59 (UTC+8), trading services will cease. Users will no longer be able to place new orders, and all existing spot orders will be automatically canceled by the system.
Website shutdown: The HKVAEX official website will be taken offline on May 1, 2024. From this date onward, users will not be able to access any content or services related to HKVAEX.
Earlier report, HKVAEX's application for a Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform license was withdrawn on March 28.
