TechFlow reports, according to CoinGape, that detained Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan has filed a lawsuit against Nigeria's State Security Service (SSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Local media reported that on March 28, Tigran Gambaryan sued the State Security Service, alleging violations of his fundamental human rights and seeking five primary forms of relief from the court.
He urged the court to order the return of his passport and immediate release after more than three weeks in detention. He also requested a prohibition on future detentions during similar investigations, and demanded public apologies from both the SSS and EFCC.
In addition, he requested the court to award full costs of the legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, as reported by Cryptoslate, Nigeria's legal case against the cryptocurrency platform and its executives over alleged tax evasion is expected to commence on April 4.
