Ten candidate committee members attended and delivered campaign speeches on new proposals, subject to public evaluation. Three committee members elected from Huobi HTX social media communities also attended, sharing their personal insights on HTX DAO governance.
During the livestream, regarding the proposal to stimulate active exchange users through $HTX rewards, multiple candidate members and some elected members expressed concerns: distributing $HTX rewards too easily might lead users to undervalue them. They emphasized maximizing the interests of $HTX holders as a core principle, ensuring every decision maximally enhances the value and benefits of $HTX holders. For instance, implementing a healthy $HTX buyback mechanism to achieve better deflationary effects and preserve its value; actively seeking and exploring various possibilities and innovative methods to expand the application scenarios of $HTX.
On the trending Meme sector, elected committee members pointed out: HTX DAO should collaborate with Meme projects and learn from their communities how to build strong community engagement. They suggested considering direct token swaps with relevant communities. Several candidate members agreed, suggesting introducing Meme concepts and launching meme-inspired projects on-chain to drive market momentum. They proposed creating a culturally influential symbol similar to Dogecoin to spark public interest and identification. Additionally, organizing richer offline events could strengthen community cohesion and reinforce consensus among members.
Regarding decentralized governance of HTX DAO, candidate members proposed establishing clear incentive mechanisms to encourage user participation and contributions. They also stressed defining operational procedures so all participants understand and comply with platform rules. Furthermore, they recommended building a system to re-engage existing users, enhancing user loyalty and activity.
HTX DAO stated that the People's Committee will serve as a core force focusing on the community’s long-term interests, progressively advancing and implementing democratic self-governance construction.
