TechFlow news, according to Theblock, Ethereum developers plan to increase the maximum stake for validators from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH as part of the Pectra upgrade, expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
Currently, the effective balance limit for Ethereum validators is set at 32 ETH. This requirement forces large-scale staking operations to run multiple validators in order to earn rewards on amounts exceeding this limit.
This improvement is expected to reduce stakeholders' operational burdens by decreasing the number of required validators.
