TechFlow news — According to an official announcement from HTX DAO, the second round of voting for the inaugural People's Committee election will take place from March 21 at 15:00 to March 25. At 20:00 on March 22 (UTC+8), HTX will host a live stream on Huobi to interpret the latest proposals.
In this round, HTX DAO has provided three proposal directions for the 10 shortlisted proposers to choose from: potential collaboration between HTX DAO and MEME projects, exploring broader decentralized governance models, and how HTX DAO can empower the exchange through $HTX and other means. Users may vote for the new proposals within the designated timeframe. After both rounds of voting, HTX DAO will select 3–5 outstanding proposers based on their total votes to join the People's Committee.
The first-ever HTX DAO People's Committee election runs from March 12 to March 26. During this period, two rounds of proposals and voting will determine which individuals are selected for the committee. Following the first round of voting, 10 top proposers have advanced from over 500 candidates to qualify for the second round.
Notably, HTX will directly invite 3–5 long-term community members—recognized for actively contributing to platform development on social media and in communities with valuable input—to serve as advisory members of the People's Committee. These advisors will participate in the HTX live stream to discuss the platform’s development and be subject to public evaluation.
