TechFlow news, Gate Group has announced its registration as a VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) with Italy's Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM).
Gate Group is now conducting compliant operations across multiple jurisdictions, including:
- Hong Kong: TCSP license enabling provision of digital currency custodial services
- Gibraltar: DLT license permitting broker/dealer and custodial services related to digital currencies; approved by the Gibraltar Charity Commissioner to conduct charitable activities
- Malta: Class 4 Virtual Financial Assets Service Provider license for cryptocurrency trading, on-ramping, off-ramping, and custody services
- Lithuania: VASP registration allowing operation as a digital currency exchange operator and custodian
- Dubai DMCC: License for proprietary trading services related to cryptocurrencies
- Italy: VASP registration enabling provision of cryptocurrency exchange and wallet services
- Bahamas: Approved by SCB to engage in digital asset business, exchange between digital assets and fiat currencies, offer one or more digital asset exchanges, and provide digital asset transfer services
- Australia: Registered with AUSTRAC as a VASP
