TechFlow news, modular Layer2 network Mantle announced the successful completion of its mainnet v2 Tectonic upgrade. Based on OP Stack Bedrock, this upgrade enhances cost efficiency and strengthens interoperability with other EVM chains.
The upgrade includes the following improvements:
- EIP-1559 Support: Implementation of EIP-1559 improves transaction fee price auctions, stabilizes block utilization, and enhances network security.
- Removal of Redundant Components: Streamlined Mantle Network architecture for improved efficiency.
- Predictable Block Timing: Blocks are generated every two seconds, enhancing node performance.
- Block State Proofs: Added support for proofs related to block and block header states.
- L2 Native Token Migration: MNT tokens are now native assets on the Mantle Network L2, improving liquidity.
- Meta Transactions: Introduction of meta transactions reduces user entry barriers.
- Fee Optimization Strategy: Optimized fee mechanisms using the tokenRatio parameter.
