TechFlow News, zkLend, a lending protocol in the Starknet ecosystem, announced that it has opened its airdrop claim portal and will launch ZEND token claims on March 14.
zkLend stated that over 35% of the zkLend tokenomics is dedicated to reward distributions, including future airdrops and other incentives. Season 2 airdrops will align with the shift toward modularity and the rollout of key product features such as isolated markets, vault strategies, and transaction builders.
The Season 1 airdrop will distribute 3,890,250 ZEND tokens to 42,695 early supporters, approximately 4% of the total supply. 25% of the airdrop allocation will be immediately unlocked upon claiming on March 14, with the remainder linearly vested over 90 days, concluding on June 12, 2024.
Starting next week, eligible users holding $ZEND will be able to deposit their tokens back into the protocol to secure its safety module and earn rewards.
