TechFlow news, JPMorgan released a report stating that if Bitcoin's allocation in investors' portfolios matched that of gold, its market capitalization should rise to $3.3 trillion, implying its price would more than double. However, this scenario may not occur due to heightened risks and volatility associated with cryptocurrencies.
Their analysts said: "Most investors consider risk and volatility when allocating across asset classes. Given that Bitcoin's volatility is approximately 3.7 times that of gold, it is unrealistic to expect Bitcoin's nominal value in investor portfolios to match that of gold."
