TechFlow news, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) of the Philippines has begun blocking websites of cryptocurrency companies offering investment products in the country without the necessary licenses. Local media Bitpinas reported that the websites of cryptocurrency firms MiTrade and OctaFX are currently inaccessible within the country.
According to Kelvin Lee, commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines, the Binance ban in the country was supposed to take effect three months after its announcement on November 29, meaning Binance should have been blocked by February 29. However, the Binance exchange remains accessible in the country.
