TechFlow News, DeFi platform Alpaca Finance has announced it has received 250,000 PYTH tokens (approximately $165,000), all of which will be distributed to the community.
Distribution plan as follows:
Rewards for Alperp traders:
- Total amount: 200,000 $PYTH ($132k USD) as trading fee rebates
- Maximum weekly reward: 20,000 $PYTH
- Reward start date: March 14, 2024 (only trades executed on or after March 14 are eligible for rebate)
- Reward end date: May 16, 2024 (longer if rewards roll over)
Rewards for governance treasury stakers:
- Total amount: 50,000 $PYTH ($33k USD)
- Weekly reward: 6,250 $PYTH
- Reward start date: March 14, 2024
- Reward end date: April 2, 2024
