TechFlow reported, CryptoQuant founder and CEO Ki Young Ju disclosed on X that the unrealized profit of short-term Bitcoin whales has reached $7.3 billion, a record high. The unrealized profit of long-term whales stands at $40 billion, still below the 2021 peak of $145 billion.
Definition of long-term whales:
1/ Average UTXO age exceeds 155 days (if less than 155 days, classified as short-term whales);
2/ Balance exceeds 1,000 BTC;
3/ Not associated with CEXs or miners.
