TechFlow reports that Georgia Quinn, General Counsel of cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital, has left the company. Anchorage has not yet named a successor for Quinn. The legal team at Anchorage currently reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Quinn continues to advise the company and assist in finding a replacement.
A screenshot of a message posted by Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley in the company's Slack channel at the end of November last year shows that Georgia Quinn joined the bank as General Counsel in 2020 and played a key role in helping the firm secure the first federal banking charter for a cryptocurrency company in the U.S. The message stated that Quinn had "decided to take some time off" and would resign effective December 15 of last year.
