TechFlow reports that the blockchain Stellar has announced network validators have voted to support upgrading the mainnet to Protocol 20, ushering in a new era for Stellar's smart contract technology stack. This stack delivers a secure, batteries-included developer experience built for scalability and real-world usage.
The team stated that validators plan to gradually increase the Soroban transaction cap toward full capacity. As the transaction limit rises, Stellar will enter its first phase, enabling over 160 builders and projects currently on the testnet to begin deploying on the mainnet. Once deployments are complete and the network has undergone stress testing, dApps will launch for public use.
