TechFlow reports that the cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask has announced the rollout of default security features for its mobile app and extension users, designed to alert against malicious transactions.
The security alerts were first launched last month via the extension on the Ethereum mainnet, and are now available to mobile and extension users on the following networks: Linea, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Avalanche.
In addition, MetaMask will run simulations of every transaction locally on the user's device, without sharing transaction details or signature requests with external providers, ultimately safeguarding user data.
