TechFlow news, on February 20, OKX announced a collaboration with Biconomy, ZeroDev, and Rhinestone to formally propose the ERC-7579 standard. This standard simplifies and unifies modular smart account management technology, aiming to help developers more easily customize features for Web3 wallet users and improve user experience. By introducing the ERC-7579 standard, developers now have a minimal and standardized approach to handling modular smart accounts, enhancing interoperability across different wallet service providers, reducing fragmentation within the smart account community, and promoting a more integrated blockchain ecosystem. Furthermore, the ERC-7579 standard paves the way for a "module marketplace," enabling any developer to create modules compatible with various smart accounts, unlocking infinite possibilities in the field of Web3 wallets and related solutions.
Notably, OKX is a key innovator in the account abstraction space, having officially launched its AA smart contract account on August 1, 2023, allowing OKX Web3 wallet users to pay gas fees using USDC or USDT. In the future, OKX's AA smart contract account will introduce additional features such as social recovery, enabling users—even if they lose their private keys—to select trusted "guardians" from their social network to assist in regaining control of their accounts.
